Michael Boampong, Executive Director, Young People We Care (YPWC
The World Youth Creative Forum for us at YPWC is a great step towards protecting the peace that is already prevailing in some countries and also building the blocks of those that have been thrown into chaos sometime. We hope that this will build the capacity of emerging young leaders to address issues of conflict and violence to help us achieve the dream of 2015.
The World Creative Youth Forum (WCYF) is a celebration of young leaders
across the globe. Taking action now that promote sustainable
development is the most generous gift we can give to the present and
future generation.
The 1st World Creative Youth Forum indeed responds to what the world
needs. Youth leaders must showcase their ideas in helping several
issues relevant to the current needs. All of us must respond to the
call of sustainable development and changes as it was really needed.
Cesar Z. Amoranto Jr., BROOD National Council for Environment
The World Creative Youth Forum, is one of the newest gathering of the youth from all over the world. It is a great opportunity for youths to express their opinion on the following topics and make an action for a better future for our next generation. I praise the International organizer of this event as well as the local for the effort of bringing the youth of the world in this gathering to discuss all current issues that truly affects our community.
HRH Prince Frederick von Saxe-Lauenberg , Children of the World 2000
The 1st World Creative Youth Forum will be the testimony of the youth of the world delivered to the global community with compassion, strength of unity, commitment, vigour and hope. What we are doing is creating a legacy for the youth of the world, we are bequeathing to our future generations hopefully a better world that will be a much happier place and at peace.
"The organizers of the WCYF is an inspiration to all the youth of the world who want to change the world for the better. We wish the WCYF the best of success for their exciting event.
The EARTHSHIP Summit for 2010 in Montreal was inspired by the World
Creative Youth Forum. Thank you for your effort to make the world a
better place.
Happy James Tumwebaze, Sustainability Watch Network (SusWatch)
On behalf of Sustainability Watch Network as an out-going International Network Coordinator, and on my own behalf, I would like to express support for the World Creative Youth Forum. This forum, which in particular addresses issues that are already affecting our livelihoods now and tomorrow, is indeed important for the youth of today, as it exposes to them what they need for their survival, and encourages them to articulate what affects them directly or indirectly. This Forum will also expose them, as managers of our world tomorrow, to advocacy skills that are important for changing the world to what it should be tomorrow.
David D'Angelo, National Secretary General Brotherhood of Destiny (BROOD)
The World Creative Youth Forum (WCYF) 2009 transcends beyond the people who is initiating it for it is a duty that was duly than for the cause of making a difference for the Earth. The way towards realizing this event seems like a hard mountain to climb but that is the case for a cause that will bear fruit. I therefore, invite everyone to take on their cudgels and walk beside us.
Cecilia Mag-isa Estoque, Educator and International Online Learning Coordinator/Facilitator
I would like to encourage youths, educators and leaders around the world to join us on our call for change for a better world. Many noble causes and actions have been pushed but the world continues to deteriorate physically, mentally and worst morally. We have young generations waiting to take their turn in managing our earth yet if we continuously squander the precious wealth and time given by our divine Creator, what would be left for them and for their future children?
Dr. Nina Meyerhof, President - Children of the Earth
The World Creative Youth Forum is a call to the youth of the world to recognize as their future they must become not only the advocates of an equitable more just world but also be the true activists in this process to ensure their future.
As the Philippines wins Miss Earth, Andy Moran, Project Assistant Coordinator of the World Creative Youth Forum (WCYF) 2009
sees it more timely to be holding an environmental conference focused
on Education for Sustainable Development here in the Philippines. "It
will be a great time that the Philippines really becomes one of the
foremost supporters and pioneers of Sustainable Development. If we have
Miss Earth then why not have the first WCYF as well?," Moran says.
